Audience and newsletter strategy

Opinion journalism is essential reading, but younger audiences aren't in the habit of going to a desktop homepage to find it. In my current role, I've had the opportunity to experiment with emerging formats — particularly newsletters — to put The Post's work in front of more readers. I've also been able to hone my skills in homepage curation, headline writing, and more.

Coming into my role managing the Post Opinions newsletter portfolio, my focus was to scale it quickly. In the past few months, we've doubled our offerings, launching 6 new newsletters that cover everything from AI to religion to sports to midterm elections. Most of these newsletters also appear on The Post's site and app, making them levers to scale our offerings while giving readers opportunities to build habit.
