Aaditi Lele
Just over 15 years ago, I was a 2nd-grader new to the United States and sorted into an “English as a Second Language” class. Today, I'm an Audience Editor in the Washington Post's Opinion section. I joined The Post two years ago as an intern in Opinions. I became an Assistant Op-Ed Editor and then, most recently, an Audience Editor managing the Opinion section's newsletter portfolio.
I graduated summa cum laude from Vanderbilt University, where I studied Political Science, Climate Studies, and South Asian Language & Culture. I was News Editor and Editorial Director for the school's student newspaper.
I manage the Opinion section's newsletter offerings and have launched 6 new newsletters in the past year, covering everything from AI to religion to midterm elections.
